Hi again

I am afraid I can't help you either - like Jimcub's the wiring on mine is a shocking rat's nest - and put together by someone with apparently nothing but red, green and brown wires available.... I mean really appalling, I nearly had a heart attack when I looked under the dashboard pod.....

In addition all switch-gear. including the ignition switch has been taken off of the steering column - the horn is wired directly to a button on the dashboard. I will be be putting it all back in time I hope.

I am going to do my best to get to as many kit car shows as possible this year (got out of the habit for a long time) so that I can look over these guy's/gal's various Novas in great detail.... I suggest you do the same ! :-)

Regards

Steve

That sounds very useful - I don't believe I have seen a full wiring diagram in the information sections - although I assume it will be very similar to a Beetle one.

Of course, I would imagine all Novas will vary hugely anyway according to individual owner's preferences and/or abilities.

Here's a link to the guide to uploading pictures meanwhile:

Have a good day - I have irate customers to persuade that we will deliver on time.... :coat:

We can make it permanent in the 'manuals' section of the front page - though you may well find it's already there.... if not, send it to either me or Dan (bobbybrown) we'll sort it out..... (click on either name where you come across it and chose 'email')

Lee, If you need anything uploading and you can't do it yourself, then PM me and I'll give you my email address, send the stuff there and I'll upload it for you.

If its useful information then I will also make it a permanent feature on the manuals and information pages of the main site.

Hi bye the way i am also new to the world of nova and beetles and major mechanics at that!
I have asked about a badge for the nova varient but there is no specific design or emblem.

I to beleive it could do with a badge of some discription but thats masy just be me?

I do have NOVA in silver plastic generic car lettering and that looks okay to me. will post a pik at some point but maybe it could be a bit of a project for anyone arty out there to generate a nova badge we could all be very happy with?
:) pick up those pencils guys and gals. i can draw a stickman would that be okay

You could ask him, though I think he'd prefer it if his name was spelt right! :oops2: Sam Cobley had badges with Nova written within an oval, he sold his remaining stock to one of the members on here, and after not getting much interest, he sold most of them on on Ebay. (so unless they're amazingly wonderful, you probably won't shift many to forum members.....)

I Would certainly be intrested in seeing what they would look like as i do beleive a universal nova badge would be good but i bet some will not agree with me! :nonono:
