Nice covers on the bottle holders, look better than the Kangaroo pouches on our ozzie friends

The red one doesn't look all that bad, nice interior. Though it appears the roof is manual. Though I do prefer our 'elephant ears', to those on the red one.

The Manta "McLaren" looks pretty good, as does the Lola. Anyone want to buy me an early Christmas present?

Matt, The elephant ears were a "factory" option down under in the early 80's. Like the rest of the car they are not symetrical side to side. There are one set of them in the UK residing on my reek. Unless our paths cross earlier then your earliest chance to see them in person is Stones '10.
Other than that it's out with the foam or plasticine and mke some your self.
All the best
Bushboy

the nova's are mine. sorry for the one who claims to have put the deathrace clip on utube, i just linked to that.
We also got the complete production moulds for sale of the Nova.
Regarding the Lola, it's a GTD and not for sale. Im working on it to drive to lemans next year The Mclaren is from Tornado, I did it to lemans allready and for sure that was more fun than driving a lambo or Veyron.

Quote: We also got the complete production moulds for sale of the Nova. Which model of Nova do you have the moulds for, are they original moulds or ones made from a car at a later date? Does the rights to produce go with the moulds or is this still held by someone else?

Sam Cobley claimed to have wrested the rights to the name 'Nova' from Vauxhall (hence the sudden change to Corsa) soooooo they should have gone to the Indian gent who bought the moulds, and if he's sold them on to Kitcarcollection, then he has them. If they're not the Mk4 moulds he might have the right to produce the cars but probably not under the label 'Nova' - but hey I'm thankfully not a lawyer and who knows where the legal niceties sit?

Hmm... the black Nova was recently up on ebay wasn't it? North London area, IIRC?
You actually have a full set of Nova moulds kitcarcollection? That would be good news indeed - Alex has been able to save some of the Mk4 moulds from destruction, but the bodyshell in particular is long gone. I see both of the cars you have for sale are older models - have you run a set of panels from the moulds yet?
Good luck with the T70 build - after the Ford F3L, the Lola T70 Mk3 (albeit the "A" model, not the 3B that was produced by GTD) is my favourite sports racing car of all time!
