something we find very useful on the dutton site that helps new members is an identify your car page/gallery now i know there is only 1 nova as opposed to various dutton models but there are various bonnets, roofs an rear bumpers etc so how about a page that shows the variations an whats avalible ?

Rob, If you could expand a little on your explanation then the admin team can look in to it and possibly add it as a new feature of the site

I think we did discuss doing this at least a year ago (in fact I volunteered to do the dividing up) but it's one of those things that 'hasn't happened yet'! The only mention of a Mk5 Jim was in the name of the Ebay seller near you who collected loads of Novas then had to sell them again.....

Now you mention it Alex it does ring a bell.
Do you think we should get on to it and arrange the photos somehow?
Only problem is, there are a lot of pictures to sort.

I think what Rob is on about is the basic differences not doing the whole gallery as a unit, for example one shot of each different "standard" model and then pictures of the individual components that make the difference ie. Nostril bonnet as opposed to flat, rear light units, the canopy etc. etc. If I'm reading it right it would be all the different components that the "factories" offered against what we as builders have done to them.

Which again we talked about doing last year BBC, AND I took all the photos including 360 spin round photos of each Nova Mk (not quite true, I haven't found an unmolested Mk2 to do that to yet) There all here in a file waiting for me to do it ........ sorry! I blame having to renovate the Morris

One could even use the drawing of the Nova and modify it to show the changes.

hi sorry if it wasnt very clear but as big bird said just a pic of each model/variation so you can see what your car has-or what it should have if its been modified or if your planning a mod you can see what diffrent options there are about

If I can get to it tonight I'll post the 'What makes what Mk' thread - these long light evenings are a bu**er for not leaving enough time to play around on the computer afterwards
