Does anyone know where in the UK I can take old vinyl records to be valued or purchased?
I have hundreds here, and I'm thinking some may be worth some money with any luck.

Cheers :)

The music and tape exchange in notting hill used to, i have a massive record collection myself and when i was a lowely student i used to get my vinyl from there. It depends what you have as certain things like Beatles and Stones are always quite expensive, as is Krautrock, Prog and certain labels like Vertigo swirl (but not Status Quo!) etc. Also the NOVA label, with bands like Galliard.

You could also check the record collector price guide

cheers

78s are made of shelac not vinyl Jim

Dan your local library should have books that value records (record collector etc). Also bear in mind that condition is everthing with records they must be in "near mint" to be worth anything.
