We should be there - last year a faulty Weber 32/36 saw us having to make the run in a Honda :oops2:

This year it is in the diary and new tent in garage !

Heh, that would be cool. Travel half way around the globe, go to a kit car show and arrive in a Aussie Eureka.

:cool1: :clapping:

Hi all

If you are not a member of the Club Nova / Avante but intend to come along to Stoneleigh next week and join, please let me know (PM or post here) which day(s) you will be visiting. Club members can get refreshments FREE on the Club stand (one of the benefits of joining) but I need to judge how much food to bring, so advance warning would be really helpful.

Also, if you bring your Nova you can park on the stand if you are a member (otherwise you have to park with the plebs in their Se7ens).

Hope to see you all there.

Phil

It will be great to see you. We can't promise the weather but we should have a cold beer and hot BBQ to make you feel at home. Elaine is the membership secretary so please seek her out about joining.

Hi Mick - can't remember whether I have said it already somewhere else, but I will be coming up on Monday - unfortunately I've got another show to do on Sunday. Don't worry about saving any cucumber for me, just a cuppa will do!

Just my luck...I found out yesterday that I'll be heading across the pond to London on Wednesday for two weeks of work. Day late and a dollar short. Story of my life. They couldnt have sent me last week...oh no.....

Anything good to do in this town after the best car show of the year just wrapped up?

London has pretty much everything any other city has - but if you get bored of the sight-seeing and traffic noise you could hop on a train and come down to Hook in Hampshire, about 1 hour. We would be happy to show you MicksRedNova and cook a meal (there may even be some cucumber left from Stoneleigh).

PM me if you're interested and we can arrange something.

Stoneleigh was a great success, see elsewhere for pictures of the event.

My thanks to everyone that responded, attended, joined Club Nova / Avante, helped out and generally made the 2009 show one to remember. Ten cars were brought by their owners over the weekend, which gave us a display line of nine each day (so many we had to double-park) :nonono: .

For those forum users that are also Club Nova / Avante members the minutes will be displayed in the Club forum area as soon as we can get them ready.

Thanks

Mick
