Hi All,
Just wanted to ask does anybody know what the "furry" material used in covering the inside of the canopy? and has anybody tried to remove it before.
My canopy was slight mis-aligned and it has worn away from the left hand side , I also want to get rid of the black for a lighter colour (maybe not cleaner but anyway!)
If I can't remove it I think I'll spray over it of try and cover it with vinyl.
Any info on this stuff would be great

Thanks

Declan
P.S. determined to get it on the road, 2 years in a garage is 2 years too ong!

without a photo it may be hard to make an accurate judgement, but its sounds like "flocking" . First a layer of glue is applied and then electrically charged nylon fibers are sort of sprayed on and stand up giving it a textured feel

I've used this firm in the past

Very friendly chaps, quite reasonable and quick

Apologies didn't take a photo yet, thanks for the link. This flocking process looks exactly what was used on my car.
Just check out if anyone in Ireland does this.
Cheers
