I have a pair of original glass side windows which came with my MK1 Nova for sale.

I have used perspex side windows so no longer need these items.

They have 3 holes for fitting the 2 upper/top hinges and the lower opening catch mechanisim. There are a few fittings for these windows but not all.

These would need to be picked up as no postage could be relied on for these fragile items.
50 for the pair.

PM me if interested, otherwise they will end up on Evil Bay.

And remember that Mk1 windows WON'T fit later canopies, don't know if Mk2s will fit Mk4s.........etc!

Nigel,
If these are still available, if you email them to me I will post them here for you, save you sending them multiple times.

I'm interested in NN's side windows, but he doesn't have the top hinges. Can anyone cast some light on what they look like or where they can be sourced?

If they're drilled, you just need to source some hatchback rear side-window hinges - mine are Peugeot 105s. Some cars have metal ones, some are plastic - neither are really 'hinges' they rely on 'bend' in the metal or plastic strap, so you may be better off going for plastic as some of the metal ones are quite stiff - work fine attached to a steel car, may be too stiff for a grp one!

Nigel,
Sorry for the delay with the photos, I've been really busy this week.

Anyway, better late than never.

These are the pictures of Nigels windows:

I did. Are you sure about the Peugeot 105 having suitable hinges?

That's what I used - but I found they and all the others I tried were too stiff, so ended up using a combination of them and some stainless strap to make 'custom' hinges..... The important bits are the ones that go through the glass!

Glad to hear that you had modified them, as I was a bit dubious about the hinges that I've seen so far. Like you I was concerned about their stiffness.
