Looks pretty.... you are allowed to rotate the pictures so that they don't seem quite so vertiginous! :whistling:

No, the jet buried its self into the piston crown

Another pic of the enginehttp://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo204/jestertopdog_photos/DSCF1251.jpg
Had a bit of a bitter sweet moment today, got the engine running :clapping: then noticed that it was pumping oil out the back somwhere.
I couldnt have it running long as i didnt have a belt on but i had seen enough for one day, so im crying into my beer

Only place it can pump out the back is the crank seal. no big job even if you have to whip out the lump.

On the nail Peter. Got the engine out tonight and im ashamed to say it, but it wasnt leaking from the seal as it wasnt fitted
When i was putting it together i popped the flywheel on temp, so i could turn it over easy to fit the barrels. I have taken far too long to assemble the motor and thought "oh must tighten that flywheel bolt before i put it in" :oops2: . But the end of the day, excuses dont change the end result.
Any way, back on it tomorrow night, soon catch up. :crossfinger:
