My other kit car want....
THAT is a good looking car. I'd love one of those too.

Hensen also offered an M70 as well. I wonder if they actually made any? The M30 tag designated the 3 litre V6 engine, so the M70 had a... you guessed it, a 7 litre V8 (Chevy I think - what would that be in cubes? A 427???)
I did see an M30 with a large fastback rear screen, like the Trident, which also looked really good.
Always had a soft spot for these bruisers!

It's a sort-of good looking car with some awful angles, the main problem is the use of brutally flat planes, (easy to do if you construct the plug from chipboard....) but subtle it aint!

There are a few eagle brochures with an 'eagle m30' in. Supposidly they brought the moulds at some point, the guys on the eagle owners forum are doubtful of they made any though.
I like Hensens , they're BAD to the core! But those ridiculously thick flying buttresses at the back end spoil the look, and probably any chance of rear visibility. I seem to remember that ther was a Hensen with much narrower buttresses and a glass rear panel, now this looked good! Searches for images of Hensen Kit Cars bring up far too many images of the permatanned rugby playing ice skating former Mr Charlotte Church! and thats not a pretty sight!

Yes, I definitely prefer the glassback version, but I thought that might have been a one-off. You seem to see plenty of pictures of Hensens, but only from the front!
DJ Sportscars (DAX Cobras) also owned the Hensen brand for a while, during an expansionist phase that also saw them acquire a 356 Speedster replica from someone... :confused1:
In some respects the brutal angularity of the car is its primary appeal - and with stylists like Bill Towns campaigning the "wedge look", it still had kerb appeal, even in the 1980s :D
