Nice of the seller to zoom in on the screen. Date coded 1985 by the look of it :D

No idea where the 1974 model year comes from... No V5, good luck!

MkII with the VW engine cover, (later Ford based didn't have the ribs, just the centre bump) so mid to late 80s.
No V5, oh dear, as this is an Eagle chassis not a VW it does mean a test, so expensive to get on the road (If it could pass). I fear this is another one for the garden.
But screen (rare) could be worth a few quid if he can get it out in one peice and find some SS owner with the money, (even rarer).

Polished up with no scratches maybe double that, worth it to get another SS on the road, so few left now.
Would need a SVA so unless the new owner has deep pockets and becomes the first person to get a SS / Nova through the SVA it's an ornament. He posted it on the E.O.C forum but no offers, probably because E.O.C. members know the problems of a SS with an Eagle chassis and the regs.

My perfect SS screen went for £80 and only one person in the country was interested in it. Obviously if there had been 2 potential buyers who desperately needed a screen, the value would have been much higher, but without buyers, they aint worth diddly squat. Mine went to a guy who was planning on putting an Eagle body on a Hilux chassis :)

Hmm. The same limited visibility, but from a great height, sounds wonderful!

I suppose if the body was tipped forward on the chassis it might work, otherwise its look-down cameras or holes in the floor!

Hardly set foot in UK in 11 years so thanks for the update. Here IVA is VAT, and MoT is ITV which in the UK is a TV company. I'm trying to keep up, honestly. :(

Nope Eagle SS body, He was a nice guy, with crazy ideas :) He picked the screen up in a van with a 5.0 litre V8 American engine of some description in it! Somehow I doubt his Eagle Hilux will ever see the light of day, but hey ho
