No engine, floorpans rotten and the screen is cracked, but it is apparently correctly registered with the DVLA, so that's all right then......

To be fair, the guy is advertising it as as project only in need of full restoration. It'll probably be bought as a spares car, with bits not needed (like the wheels and the bus column) sold on, and the rest scrapped - or if it doesnt sell, it'll be broken up and sold/scrapped. I bought one for the windscreen once, sold the louvres, bonnet, undertray and canopy trim, cut out the gear lever mechanism for shortening, and sent the rest to the scrapyard. If I hadnt bought it, it was on its way to scrap, windscreen and all!
This one might not look up to much, but on a new chassis and with a windscreen, its got the making of a decent project for someone.

He's probably trying to relive those heady days of 'On the Busses'.

With those randy old womanising babe magnets Stan and Jacko. You know Reg Varney was only 3 years younger than the woman who played his mother!!

It is in better condition than mine when I bought it, so it makes a good project for the price.

I note with interest that new screens are available from Pilkingtons, with a 5 day turnround, at £326 (according to the seller)

I think it was the quoted price that is more surprising!
