Not your average wreck, though obviously a project - correctly registered on a Q-Plate so you have a lot of scope to do interesting things - somebody has put a non-standard engine (and possibly gearbox - the linkage isn't normal!) which may or may not be a Renault....Screen looks okay.

That's interesting - someone has clearly gone to the trouble of making a VW-shaped floorpan to hold together the front and rear bits of a Renault 8/10/Alpine - it certainly looks like the Renault 4-cylinder water cooled engine in the back, and the underbonnet view suggests the front crossmember (with double wishbones perhaps?) has been installed underneath - and the nose cut out for a radiator. The moulded in slats across the bonnet could be made functional - nice.

A bit of an Alpine beater by the look of it :clapping:

Very impressive - I hope someone continues with it. The dashboard layout is most unusual - I rather like it.

Always interested in this stuff, even though I have no money, no space and no time to do any of it (back to Peter's thread on the subject of kit building).

Not a lot to do  just a few weekends will see it good. :whistling:
Solid MkI body with Renault underneath, weird but nice. Number 114 on register now  only 900 more SSs and RVs etc.to find :help:
