I know I am lucky to be the proud owner of the de-iced Nova ice, but just got home from a hard day at work to find road tax reminder.......220 :cursing: . for a year disgusting as I have only done 100 miles since buying in September. Maybe I should find an older chassis and do a chassis swop.?

Stop your complaining. It costs me around $700 to keep my car on the road each year, and that's just the rego & third party insurance. And typically it goes up a bit each year. And for both my Eureka & the daily driver.

I'd go for the chassis change, if you're hardly going to use the car it's silly paying our wonderful leaders :puking: all that cash - it was the tax exempt status that set be back on Nova ownership after a 20-odd year break!

:oops2: :sorry: OK Cyco, complaining stopped, at least you have decent weather down there to enjoy the open road :outahere:

It's all good Keith.

Mind you, our roads are either being involved in bush fires or floods lately. lol

Keith,
I like your solution although a bit extreme. To help with the miles for smiles there are a number of kit car shows to attend and we are in urgent need of more takers for carfest.
