Hi all,
After attempting to balance the carbs today I have decided they need a good rebuild however I can't find the rebuild kits anywhere, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Numbers on the carbs are:
Solex H40/44EIS

Thanks all

I got mine from Retrodubs down in Cornwall. You could try them first....

This is how to do the "messing about with your solex carbs" video.

Yeah seen that before. These carbs just will not work together as they should. Rebuild may help certainly can't hurt.

Cost wise the kits are about the same for the DellOrto 38s I have. Completely strip and CLEAN every orifice and rebuild, set each one up exactly the same and you should be OK.

Will those ones on ebay be ok?
Hoping to get some ordered in the near future so I can get the carbs sorted, then change a tyre and it's on the road again!

It complies with the model number you gave, so I guess so,
Long live DellOrto DRLAs

This any good?

The machine 7 shop is 5 minutes from where I work.

Guess that compensates for the price if you can do collect and save on postage.

At the very least, go and have a talk to them, and they should be able to give you the correct kit. And if you have any problems, you can go ask them for advice/help.

Had this reply from Gower and Lee...

Sorry can't help with the kits, these Kadron units are different to the German Solex. The only parts that are compatible and we can supply from stock are the needle valves, main & pilot jets. The gaskets & diaphragms are unique to the Kadron.

Not looking good!

Sure it is. Give these guys a call or email: http://kaddieshack.com/
They've got the rebuild kits as well: http://www.shop.kaddieshack.com/3-0F-6-Kadron-Replacement-Parts-and-Rebuild-Kits_c6.htm

Would appear they don't ship to the UK. Fancy arranging to have those sent to you at some point and forward them on to me as a "gift" for customs purposes? :coat:

They will ship to uk, you just need to ask nicely, a wee note about owning euro nova wouldn't be a negative.
A euro nova/kaddieshack tie up would be a good set up.
