Hello Glasgow golfer.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find a Nova soon.

They seem to come up on flee bay quite often but they almost all need a bit of work so you can put your stamp on them.

Happy hunting.

There was one up for sale in Bathgate a few months ago - I don't think it sold.

sadly, the link to the ad expired... my ebay flags haven't picked anything up in the uk lately, but that doesn't mean there aren't some around.
Ask Gmacz, he seems to be more in touch with nova kits in your neck of the woods :)

Covin not Corbin Peter, but then again maybe its the Corbin Sparrow he's looking at, and to be honest I'd rather have ANYTHING than that!!

Corvin it is, bloody Microsoft keyboard, hate it, going back to the Medion flat one asap. Corbin is interesting, in much the same way as a appendectomy is, without anaesthesia.

I really really want a Nova...sad to see that some people slag off other kit cars on this site...thought you guys would be above that crap!!! I have put out adverts saying £100 reward if you can find me a Nova, yes I looked @ a nice covin, I also like cobras oh my god,, will I be blackballed off this site for liking cars that pretend to be something else!!!!

The guys on this forum are well above slagging of other makes, in fact we have three side by side on here , what I said IS MY opinion on REPLICARS, I am with the makers when it comes to having their cars ripped off and usually badged as one of theirs, Novas, Eagles, Avantis etc stand on their own merits.
PERSONALLY, I don't like Cobra or 7 copies, in my personal and ancient opinion they have contributed as much to the death of the kit car as much as legislation has. You can like whatever car you want but be prepared for the odd remark, sometimes very odd remark.

Please avoid the thread "Alex's Ugliest Kitcar Contenders" if you are offended by personal opinions about other Non-Nova cars. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and one of the reasons we (forum members) are here is that we all agree the Nova is a beautiful car.
I personally think the Porsche 356 Speedster thing looks like an upside down jelly mould and wouldn't want an original or a copy, but probably wouldn't mention that normally as I realise I'm a Philistine when it comes to design styling. As I get older I get less worried about who I upset, a trait common amongst a significant portion of Nova owners (who are mostly old(er)), sorry is that ageist?, and we tend to think we are making 'tongue in cheek' commentary for the entertainment of others, which may not be the case. :slap:

I hereby unreservedly (retrospectively and in advance) apologise to Porsche, Covin, Corbin, and all the other manufacturers, owners and admirers of all the other cars that aren't a Nova, that I may make fun of on a public forum.

Don't say it too loud - but isn't the Eagle really a replica Nova since it was based on the American Cimbria itself a derivative of the Sebring which was a Nova copy? :outahere:

well over the last 30 years I've had 2 Novas, a Covin & a Quantum 2+2 , a mk1 Escort, old minis and a few soulless boxes on wheels because I needed a cheap diesel for commuting but nothing can match how awesome I felt looking at the Nova especially as both had remote controlled canopy's ;-) ...so thanks to circumstance I am now on the hunt for another Nova ...sadly there are not many around well not in the "hardly needs anything done category" as a mechanic I'm not....so I will continue to look...I have bought a Wee motorbike to get around till a Nova hopefully comes my way..

The argument as to which came first, the Stirling or the Cimbria goes on both side of the pond. Certainly the Nova is the daddy and the SS/ Cimbria follow similar lines but there the similarity stops. Even the two gull wing cars are quite diffent when gone into.
