Thinking of Buying this but would probably change engine as I think a 3 ltr way too big, heavy and powerful for such a wee light car...

That would be a steal at 3K, over in mainland euroville it would be twice that.

As you said these cars are getting rarer, unless you want a new one that is and in good condition even rarer, I would rip his arm off at that.

Don't worry about the 'power', there isn't that much. 6cyl Corvier engines came in various sizes, 2.3L, 2.4L and 2.7L (180hp) the ones with the dual single choke carbs only gave between 80 and 102, so not much more, if any, than a tweaked VW 1600 and not a lot heavier than a VW1600.

They are very good engines and used a lot in small 'kit' aircraft and as such, despite being a 1960s engine (1962-1967), parts are still available, also dressed up they can look very cool. The Porker cog box is a good feature though.

Interior is nice, needs a clean, even if not your 'cup of tea' I would learn to live with it. As that is possibly the most time consuming thing on a project (I know :blushing: )

Its a girl selling it, i think she wants to keep both arms connected to her shoulders.
3k ono, it will go cheaper as ono.
Private reg number, registered as a "Nova" and body type "sports" and 3 litre.
At least registration is spot on.
Now it is on here, it might go quick.
Get in first.

If the V5 is registered as a "Nova" then that bit of paper alone is worth quite a bit and opens up all sort of options

Yes its me selling my Dads car and up to now both arm are still connected firmly at shoulders. Ive 20+ photos if anyone wants more photos. Its been in dry storage for 9 years. Ran last October before being drained for storage due to emigration.
If you need any information I'll try and answer questions. Thanks

Posting all the photos on Photobucket, Dropbox or other sharing sites so we can all see them would definitely help possible buyers get a much better feel for the car
