Not one of mine, but chatted to a chap who has access to a Nova shell tonight, believed to be with full set of panels and never fitted to. A car.

in an overgrown unit, and needs extracting, but will do so if thinks there is interest.

will try to gain more info but wanted to check on here first if anyone was after just a shell - no chassis?

Hi Jim,

Do you know what sort of money he is after? The body on my Nova has been messed about and will take lots of work to put right, might be interested.

If it wasn't for my needing to successfully hunt down a lot of that elusive spondulix critter, I'd jump at it.
As is, my wallet bites me every time I try to reach for it right now :(

Hi Jim,

I have inherited (another) Nova project (more details anon but it is bare bones, no engine, windscreen......:scared:), and although the main body tub is salvageable (but a good replacement would be nice), the canopy is in a bad state, and so I too am interested (subject to Dirk having first dibs!).

Cheers,

Colin

My body needs lots of attention too... further details would be great! Mk, colour, where it is, etc. `)
...obviously in order of dibs above! `)

As Dirk has advised I have put him in touch.

If that doesn't work out I will ask the seller to let me know and re post more info here.

Apparently the car is no longer available!! the guy trying to sell it was not the owner, and now the owner wants to keep it. It may come up again once the owner realises the task in hand?
Anyway here are a few photos that I was sent.

Looks in reasonable condition and its one of Sam Cobleys cars (see the front undertray and engine cover). Pity we couldn't see the lights to see if it had the pop conversion as per Buffy's

Such a waste.
Same colour gel coat as mine too.

Sorry you have had your time wasted Dirk - I was passed the info in good faith via the magazine and wasn't aware of any issue re ownership/right to sell.

Hi Jim, Dirk,

Thanks for keeping us posted nonetheless - shame to see it has never (yet) been given a chance to shine in all its glory- maybe one day soon hopefully!

Cheers,

Colin

Maybe the real owner is saving it as a retirement project (which is how mine seems to be going!).
As the body has never been used (by the look of it), an original new build will likely be far more straight forward than having to do a re-build / repair job! `)

Hi Jim I don't think it was a waste I think the guy was quite genuine. The whole story was a bit complex. I think the car had been on a chassis at some point windscreen is fitted as are the side windows and I think some bits were missing dash and rear louvre. I do suspect it will appear for sale at some point.

If it is as I suspect a Sam Cobley body it never had a louvre, just that small eyebrow spoiler.

Ditto, its exactly the same as mine so should have a mini spoiler
