I dont think flocking is the way to go on seats it is not very durable and scratches very easily, it does look good on a roof lining though. Dirk

That does look compact, If you are doing joints in a very tight space on the car I can also recommend the gas solder kits that can double up as a hot...

I think I would be tempted to build a frame of 2 x 2 around the seats cover it with insulation foam sheet and put an electric radiator in there....
