Hi All,
I'm starting to put my Eagle SS up for sale, as far as I'm aware it's 80-90% ready for an MOT, correctly registered as an Eagle SS & one of the few unfettled examples.
£1500 but will...
Easy wouldnt be the term I would use but the final form was, I agree, simple enough.
I certainly would like the cumulative hours either wasted at Chelmsford DVLA, on the phone, or writing to...
Backstory is that none of the previous owners registered/completed it since being brought, so in effect new build. it hasnt even been drilled for bolting to a chassis yet.
I brought it in 2008...
Also for reference the two images sent with the form, plus some previous build up pics.

Chris I'm in the exact same position, my roof hinges have just started to expand due to rust and the bottom of the door kicks out.
I was going to leave them for the foreseeable future but did speak...
I wasnt thinking the rear tbh, just the fronts, small compressor and tank in the nose (add a bit if weight there). But many other things to do before then.
Hopfully this will be its perminant parking space in the near future, especially as the misses is making noises about her own project.

Some more pics
I'm struggling to exit the garage, luckily the nose flexes enough for me to lift it up while the misses pushes, long term I'm thinking air suspension on the front might be the best...
Evening all,
With the boss challenging me to get the kit on the road by the end of August (long shot but it's a deadline), yesterday I popped up to the very wet Newark kitcar show and grabbed...
Brought mine for £500, probalbly spent £2k on bits and tools (which are like little life-loans) And tbh at the moment on the surface looks pretty much the same as i brought it, however at least i now...
I asked about the windscreen, doors and rear wi?dow. Reply was '£250 for the whole car...!!!'
So not helpful, doesnt seem like he wants to sell the parts separately. I wasnt playing games so said if...
Same one being sold in lincoln, whole & differnet seller.....currently at 8 bids/£400? Anyway ive asked how much for the windscreen doors and side windows (to keep as spares) so we'll see what they...
Very small update but im now derby for the forseeable future
Just for those worrying what's happened to me, I'm still here and so is the Eagle.
General lack of posting has been down to many things, including new job, moving everything to Derbyshire (a very...

For cars the general standard is to be sculpted using thermo-modelling clay, the advantage is that you can change the design as you go along. however due to the symmetric form of mine i had little...
Cheers everyone, well it's been a very, very eventfully week, because today I have been offered a job a junior designer position at J.C. Bamford Excavators Ltd, starting soon! Scariest part is i've...
Bit of self indulgence I know, but thought I'd give you the conclusion of why I've not been doing much work on the Eagle over the last year.
As of today I am now officially a "Master of Design...
.......well now you dont have too. Hopefully yours wont have a destroyed counter balance weight (assumption not fact)...it literally ate itself from the inside, Spitting shards of bearings etc at my...
Yup, ford (granada i believe) based, but dont think it uses enough parts/points.
Here are my photos from the day, does start with stanford hall but the stoneleigh photos are at the back.
Annoying not as many as i could've taken, but we've decided our camera's battery is a dud...
It's weird how hydraulic handbrakes are illegal, even if separate system to normal brakes, yet manufacturers are allowed electric assist handbrakes. Personally i would rate hydraulics over electrics,...
