edit : oops just read the message and went here instead...
Flock after the seal is attached, as the flocking only attaches where you put the glue so simply don't put any on the seal
Good to hear its fit for purpose and will let you progress on the wiring. I've opted for a cheap 858D copy I found on Aliexpress for three reasons. 1) Its cheap, 2) Its free shipping and 3) it allows...
Steve's old car, my blue one was originally flocked on the canopy and window tunnel. It is a good choice for items like the canopy that has may sharp turns and concave and convex elements to the...
So 450c makes that 842f, so similar range to the one Brett found. Given the pricing it may be worth a punt
IRS Peter......
Any link to the specifications so I can see how the heat output compares with Brett's, as I too tried the SCL 3:1heat shrink and my normal heat gun struggled to get it to shrink
Which pump did you go for on the golfcart, Hydrapack?

As I'm using the donor car OEM gauges, steering column, switches and engine my plan is to use the full loom, minus the airbag circuits as I left those in the donor car. And yes your are right the...
lol
Yes that would be an option to prevent inadvertently squirting yourself in the face. I can't speak to the efficacy of bonnet mounted ones though as I've not tried that method
Phew, at least I'm not the only one
90% there for the major components, on the basis I'm using OEM dash / steering column stalk components and I know where the lights are along with...
Probably an obvious question in hindsight, but why didn't you position the tie-wrap square tabs underneath the arms rather than on-top so they are less obvious ?
I don't get why they pixelate the images of the nozzles in the photos :confused1:.....bizarre
My blue Nova has the water jet tube run up through the inside of the canopy hinge arms along with the wiper motor wires. I've not faced an issue with pinching luckily, but yes the pedestal for water...
I’ve spent a fair bit of time procrastinating and doing other jobs rather than tackling my wiring loom reconfiguration. Mainly because I don’t have the car here to redo all my measurements from the...
