Nicely turned out but those headlights do look a little "lost" amongst the space provided for, maybe there is a way to make them look less so by putting a black band at the top of the perspex covers....

Duly saved so I can see what I purchased and fitted versus what I should have purchased! (hopefully not too far way from the chart)
I think I have, but need to check my fibreglass part stash when I get back to the UK
The perspective shots really help appreciate the work that has been done.
What is the blue bar that goes across the rear wheels for?
It does look like the rear valance has has some modifications already so potentially more to do than simply bond (or bolt) it back, and may also depend on what engine the new owner wants in there...
Another milestone, well done.
I agree with Steve a couple of shots from a distance would help with the perspective to truly appreciate the work and layout
what is interesting is that taking what was a beautiful timeless classic design and making so few subtle changes can alter the whole perspective of the car and turn it into something dated and less...
wow, other than the obvious rear hacking to the body for the V8 an unmolested body mark 1, panels like the front undertray appear to have never been fitted as no mounting holes drilled yet, and the...
Nice to see the Princess found her new knight in shining armour to look after her. Treat her gently , as she is use to being chauffeured about in a trailer and not getting her feet wet. Better still...
wow, you really are pushing the envelope with using CNC to cut your holes and 3D printing mountings for everything!
I admire your attention to detail, and ability to do that stuff (even if...
I like the use of the OEM grommet's through the body
not really hacked about so a great starting point. I do like the paint colour, much more towards what I intended for my blue Nova to be, but it didn't end up that way
Always good to see some lateral thinking and good old school engineering to get around a problem. Nice update
Steve and Alistair are right, that one job alone will make a huge difference.
This is my Before and After when I redid my slot mags, a world of difference

Welcome aboard to the world of Nova ownership, plenty of help can be found here to get you going. As Alistair said, start a thread and post some photos
I looked at these before Peter, they just don't have the various colour combos to match a modern loom from a Subaru
Thanks Brett, I knew I'd seen a post before but no matter what I searched I didn't find it. Very helpful thanks. There are many places you can get wiring, but the correct colour, and tracer wires ...

Its a good reminder for me not to wrap the loom until after its been in the car and everything works, I plan to cable tie initially at intervals. I remember when I did my first loom 25+ years...
Looking very good and its going to make taking the canopy off a lot simpler than wires threaded through the hinge arms
Perfect chance for you to try out the practical side of those fiberglass youtube "how to" videos Steve
wow that is kinda tight. I'm just trying to visualise that area with the body on, I think the body tub may also need some clearance for a part of that header also.
After making my pegboard I've somewhat stalled again also, why is it wiring has such an effect on us ? I guess its so less tangible / rewarding than designing and creating parts
I love the OEM feel where the panel wraps around the dash, nicely done
There are various marks it has been registered as in the UK, a few examples :
VW Sports
Nova
Nova Sports
VW Beetle
When I've done something similar in the past once the two parts were welded together I drilled a small hole all the way through both from one side to the other part way down, then fitted a small...
