Yeah, those engine code letters make a big difference on price.
Anything with a 914 code has a big premium attached.
Hmm ... Looks like the advert has been taken down
>> Nova 1961, Type 4, 914 engine/vw. Previous owner but one 40 years!
Does it have a real Porsche 914 Engine?
or do you mean generic Type 4? i.e. from a later Van or Type 4 car.
very nice! :cool1:
Looks complete, with the screen and lump. Nice.
Good luck with the sale.
Nice update, good to see things progressing :cool1:
Sorry to hear Dave, I think I met your dad briefly when you picked up the car a gazillion year ago.
Wow, that's what you call a stripdown, good work :cool1:
Looks OEM - good work.
Following this with interest as I have 2 Litre Type 4 GE code lump sitting in the garage.

Front torsion leaves (euro-nova.co.uk)
Cheers man. The stainless plate that the column passes through is needed to run the car with the body off (only), I plan on giving the chassis a full shakedown without the body. The plate will come...

Nova Cars were the Elams who...
Sorry to hear about the MOT;
Assuming you have the VW steering box, the steering stops are on the front beam,
the Pitman arm on the 'box should hit them at each end of it's travel.
In this pic you...
Looks to be a well-spec'd car - very nice
A gazillion years ago (~1982) at a show called VW Action, I saw a superbly built blue Nova, with an Autocavan 2.2 engine, Reg No. WRY1, I wondered what had happened to that car.
I would love to see...
