I agree, brilliant tools for so many awkward jobs. I still like 1mm angle grinder disks for straight cuts - much quicker, but a lot more dust!
Again I point out that I have the mould for the Mk 1 bonnet......
I also have a mould for the Mk 1 bonnet, taken from Bushboy's reek many moons ago.....
I have a mould for the pods, and have turned out a few over the years.....
About the only surefire way is to do what you've done and never sell anything on Ebay.....:blushing:
B****r! Hard luck Dirk. Looking quite moist in your photo, it's hissing down in Cornwall...
Scroll down a bit and find a white 'Opel' wrongly described......

Well it's been a while, and this is actually the running Nova not the new one, but I'll add to this thread as something simillar will have to happen with the MG version.....

That was Dan - we met him at the show, he said he was going to list his project on Ebay and see where it went. Good start for someone!
Found a new boxed coil in a hidden cupboard..... Still wouldn't start......checked points again and found they'd closed up, so the dubious coil was probably fine:cursing: Anyway, starting and running...
Not looking hopefull. Retrodubs have gone online only, closing their wonderful local(ish) shop because of lock-down and I doubt any of the motor factors can get a coil quickly.... used to be a...
Well. Nova ran sweetly down to Penzance Tescos for a fill up, ran sweetly back until forced to wait a mile from home for Trembath's cows to move to another field. Car idled for a while, then died and...
Thanks Dirk! Helpful neighbour Landrovered the Doblo away and Nova cleared for testing tomorrow - embarrassing how long it's been trapped! :coat:
Does anybody know how it will be set up? Are we able to turn up Friday Night or does it have to be Saturday morning? Is there space to camp on the stand or are we off on a campsite area? Just a...
Possibly the slowest roof pump in existence?
At the moment all the alterations are being done on that, the plan then would be to take a mould..........
I was intending to fit one whether required or not, also a lot of soundproofing as I don't like loud interiors. Still working out where to clamshell the rear as the laughable MG engine access will...
I've got a big sheet of treadplate earmarked - but yes waterproofing will be interesting! Incorporating a floorpan sheet in the original chassis design mnight have been favorite!
I'm thinking a...
Ed did have a solution with a modified wishbone, but it never seemed to happen. (And I haven't pestered him since the Covid hiatus) (the back wheel arch is filled well with standard MG wheel and...
I do remember Davey managing to burn out his Smiths pump, playing with the remote indoors without realizing his car was responding outside....:blushing:
You could borrow my stainless set (which will go on my car when I get to it!) if you want to get a set made up to match?
I used to be with Flux but they kept putting my premium up each year. I changed to Carole Nash when their agents visited the club pitch at Stones about 8 years back. They sent me a renewal this...
