Hard to believe such a nice car is that inexpensive $18,500us. I got about the same when I sold mine last year and I think this one is maybe even nicer.

I like the new look but still working through the learning curve.
Since there is a return (lip) all the way around the perimeter of the seat, you could also glue felt on the back of the seat. Its very flexible and installs easily with spray contact cement. Just...
I don't think it could look any better. Your wheel and tire choice is fantastic. I can't wait to see that body in one color, its just so distracting right now .. LOL.
Oh and I wasn't suggesting...
I sure wish you'd be posting on the Sterling site as well as here. USA USA USA ... Just kidding folks!
I like everything about that video. Especially the fact that it is just to promote their car club.
Great job on them. We all should be this excited about our cars and clubs.
I like the idea of the magnetic hold down. This could be incorporated with a switch or wired in with the ignition and is only pulling power when the car is running.
Here is one from ebay that...
Very cool Brett. Glad to see it come together for you.
I'm going to guess you checked your end play without having the front pulley installed?
Great video and reading the comments below the video was almost as much fun.

I put my valve in the drivers compartment so it can be adjusted as conditions...
I also made what I called a tribute visor for all 4 cars. Was simple enough to make and pull a mold from.

I always use roofing tape on my floor pans. Cheap enough by the roll and it takes about 2 rolls to do both sides (about $35 us). Nice thing is you can fill your floor up with water and it will never...
How about a link to where you got those?
I like them!
I mounted front daytime running lights with amber switch back turn signals. You get the best of both worlds.

If I were told tomorrow that I may never be allowed to drive again, would I still be building my cars?
Damn sure would! Some of us are builders and some are drivers. Some a little of both. Which...
Looks great Brett, I hope it works how you imagined and calculated it would. Will you polish all your stainless?
My feathers were not ruffled, I was agreeing with you Brett. That's why I posted the link on how to test the coil. Its always good to learn how to test things rather then just throwing parts at them.
I've had a coil go bad in the past. The car would run great for the first 15 to 20 minutes until the coil got good and hot. It would start running poorly and then just quit.
Or as Brett said, test...
Sounded like a bad coil to me, I responded before reading your entire post and that you solved the problem.
Nice job Brett, that's a great looking hood!
Yes that was the original plan and to also use my drone. This was just a quicky idea on Friday because I had a half day off and I didn't have any help to capture the video. I'll be doing some more...
Just wanted to post a quick link to a video of my recently finished Sterling.

The double nut method is the best. If it's still giving you trouble you can use a vice grip on the smooth part of the stud and turn that and the double nut at the same time. Don't be afraid to add...
If you made the purchase on ebay you should still have it in your purchase history.
If not, can't you just have a friend provide you with a receipt?
