Nice garage, and base coat. Lean on the paint shop and get them to get it done.
Photos can be deceptive, it actually has lots of orange peel and needs rubbing downOriginally Posted by Peter

As far as it being ready it will be taken away from the painter this Saturday, regardless of whether he finishes it or not as after two years enough is enough
Fingers crossed its finished, but I won't be back in the UK to start assembly that soon
ORANGE PEEL! from a "professional" painter, that's not on, If I had done that at Luton Kawasaki where I did restorations I would have been fired! Proper equipment, paint, additives and conditions there is no excuse and even here in 'dozy' Spain it's a month tops for a repair and a week for a paint job. Mind you, every other 'nava' or industrial unit here is a car repair shop, such lousy drivers.
The opinions expressed in my posts may not be made in a sound mind and should be taken in the spirit intended, Jack Daniels is fine. Autism isn't something you get or can be 'cured of', it is the way we are wired, differently.

OK so here is phase 1 of the move to the new garage :-
The move to the new home, second Nova kit loaded up and ready to go!
Loaded up into the new cradle I made to house the body shell
Trailer placed underneath and hopefully (I will find out tomorrow) space for the other Nova on top of it without fouling the cradle
I've even got space left in front of the trailer
and the final resting place fully secured!
- 3 point door locking system
- 2 deadbolt locks
- 1 garage defender lock firmly secured into the concrete inside the garage
lets hope its safe and sound
Dave
The other one seems to be turning into a jellyfish with tentacles.
Nice looking facility though - I don't know how you manage to get so much done when you're home!

So far I have been back in the country 6 days and haven't stopped at all, back and forth to the garage (1 hour drive each way) fixing it up, fitting shelves etc.. I now need a holiday!!
Hi Dave,
When do you move the other Nova from the painters?
Colin
David was collecting the shiny one on Saturday.
I popped into the paint shop to collect the rolling wheels I had loaned whilst being painted. I must admit to sneaking a few pics of the shell and parts in final colour before I left (and before Dave got there ) and it looked great in the sunshine on the polished wellers.
I won't post pics here though as I am not sure if Dave is keeping the colour a secret till all back together.
Reminded me of getting Nena back from the shop and the fun of assembling - cant wait to see it finished.
You don't mess around - nice update.
Hmmm ..it strikes me that there is room for at least two more Nova bodyshells in that garage
