Well the idea is to attend a show or three over here called "compression tuning", (nothing much to do with "tuning" in the real sense, mostly bolt on and paint mods). big difference is upon paying a fee (about 20€) you can win some decent money in each class so I guess the answer is, a lot of people.

Managed to get the screen in with just the AV socket remounted 90 degrees so it sticks out the back now, just need to make a stay across the inside to hold it all in place and a thin trim to clean up the opening.

4" screen set into centre consul at last, I cut a hole in the back of the monitor case and soldered the AV socket in 90 degrees so it stuck out the back. Just need to source a bit of black see though plastic to go around the computer and act as a screen for the display that goes to it's left

BOTH front calipers on and both front wheels. yeah!!! only took 11 months

Next job is feeding the alternator cable from the back along the left sill to the front battery so it cannot interfer with the digital speedo as it did before. (every thing was great untill the engine started, running a jummper from the alternator to the battery outside the car cured it so I have to work that into the car now.

Small raked back radio antenna and wipers sorted too.

Personally Id put one on each side of the rear bump in the engine cover. Putting it on top of the scoop is a bit obsolete!!

Just a little update.
So darm busy at work now not getting a lot of time for the SS and we have sold the old apartment which meant all the crap, (sorry dear, collected contents) from the flat ended up in the garage so I can hardly get around at the moment, but I am slinging the odd box of plastic flowers or obsolete kitchen utensils in the dumpster every now and again so I am getting my space back.
Managed to get the black perspex cover over the computer and display so that looks a proper job at last and I am going to match it over the reverse screen too.
The unique SS side repeaters are in and looking good.
Engine turns over, yipeee
Decided to go with the less is best look and not use the louvers at all.
Main job now is the doors, fitting the rams in the roof of the doors and the catches front and rear instead of at the bottom, (copying DeLorean).

Well the PAL 4" screen arrived today by courier from Frank in Germany and with a bit of 10 x 10 wood across top and bottom to take the four screws, it fitted in quite well.
I couldn't fit it exactly central as the back light connectors have large plastic protectors which foul the door switches so it's either mount the screen slightly off center but with a central cover or mount it 2cm back from the front panel so the protectors go below the switches and make a recessed surround or move the switches up and out about 2cm to clear the screen, but that means making a completely new fascia, again.
All this because the back lights are different from the original Lilliput one.
Then the really difficult decision, do I do the stainless steel sub-fascia panel, as shown or polished alloy, brushed alloy or black plastic? Hmm wandaya reckon?

Skoda Favia tailgate contacts, these are for interior light switch linked to earth, earth, Door opening from alarm, Positive for possible additional services/door accumulator for puddle lights, etc.
The part already wired fits on the outer end of the dash and the other part in the top front of the door panel.
