Thanks Jim, Just checked GSF and the pumps are about £15 inc the vat.
I think I'll take the old one off, albeit very carefully and take it with me when I go for the new one.

Actually Dan, if the top is only leaking, you should be able to source a gasket for that and won't need to pull it from the block, if memory serves. Four bolts around the perimeter, and the top half should come off. It's a very simple diaphram type pump.
If the diaphram is exposed when you remove the top cover it with a petrol soaked rag & plastic wrap. If the diaphram dries out it will crack whan you put it back together again. Also before you refit the top make sure that the diaphram is in the fully down stroke. Then refit the top & tighten it up. If you dont you may find the pump will deliver a smaller volume of fuel!!

I'm sure its just the top, I may try a gasket first, save buying a new pump.
I'll have a closer look tomorrow and see whats happening.
