Good idea, this section! I got this tip from my mechanic. He's been using a brake line kit from an outfit called S.U.R.&R. (have no idea what it stands for). So I ordered both kit sizes (3/16 and 1/4 tube) and just finished hooking up the front brakes for the car. Very easy, they have all the fittings you could possibly need in one kit and a roll of tubing to boot. The tubing is engineered to be bent by hand, so there is little waste if you do it right. The cheapest place I could find the kits is here http://www.amazon.com/16%1A-Brake-Line- ... B001B5RLUU because oddly, if you go to their site, the kit is $5 more. But I digress... anyway, a great investment for anyone needing to run hard lines in your car. You will need a flaring kit of some sort; I bought this http://www.toolsource.com/doublebubble- ... 02470.html as it had every possible adapter to do both SAE and DIN and double bubble flares that you'll find on some of the newer cars.
