    Thankyou Mick!
It's a 50 year old car and everything works, just not always at the same time.......and it's probably about to get jealous!

Cholmondeley castle is just up the road from me about 7 miles, if running on 4 cylinders I could make it.

    Good News

I checked with the organisers today and Club Nova are on the list to display cars at both events. I am awaiting the access details and site layout which I will send round to those lucky people on the list.

If you have a Nova on the road, and want to be added to the list then let me know.

    Great news,
Cant wait, but I have to as I am still fiddling with the Purvis, but making progress.

Mrs Bushboy has just offered to roller paint the car before the carfest. She reckons it looks a bit rough at the moment. I'll have to sand it down between coats at night & she can pretend its the hall way & roller it during the day.

Excellent news. That gives me 2 months to fix the Green Machine - no pressure!

(very frustrated at the moment, work is messing up my weekends as well as my weekdays...)

Being without wheels at this time of year is such a pain in a$$, I've even had to forego my annual pilgrimage to FOS - perhaps Carfest will help to compensate...

    CARFEST

Just over 1 month to go before the show. I hope the guys on the list are well on their way to fixing, MOTing, Polishing or whatever elseing is needed to be ready for attendance at the show.
If there are any other Novas out there that are road-ready and not on the list and available for the show please PM me or post here.

    Thanks

I recently discovered there is a charge for the Club to attend and a cost to camp at the CarFest events. I am currently querying with the organisers when I need to send them the booking form (and money).

If you are interested in going, and have a roadworthy Nova, there is still at least one place left.

Please let me know asap if you want to come along. Likewise for the Northern event at Cholmondley Castle in Cheshire on 8/9 September.

    Thanks

GREAT NEWS - Because I booked Club Nova in when the event was first announced we DON'T have to pay a booking fee and will be one of ONLY 27 car clubs with a static display.

So if you want FREE ENTRY to CarFest you need to:

    A. Bring your Nova.
    B. Be available on either Saturday or Sunday (or both) from 8am to 6pm.
    C. Let me know as soon possible that you want to be part of it.
    D. Pay for camping (£100 if you want to stay on-site at CarFest ) or make alternative local arrangements.

    Thanks

Agreed, I was firmly in the 'well they can stuff that' frame of mind, especially the camping charge as you could stay B&B with us for four nights for only £4 more........ I'm still happy to consider at least one day though there would have to be a local campsite if I was to be able to get to the venue at 8 o'clock (don't fancy setting off in the wee small hours!) Will get back to you Mick.
