Until I saw the front end I was thinking - 'that was a logical progression from the original Batmobile' then I saw the front! That bit was 'designed' by someone who normally does tractors or ride-on mowers! WHAT were they thinking? AND it's 18 feet long!!!!!! Nice of them to provide that delta shaped shelf at the back for people to rest their coffee cups/beer cans on while they roll on the floor laughing!
It's a 52 year old car and everything works, just not always at the same time.......and it's probably about to get jealous!

OK, it might just be me or the softened out of focus pictures, but I cannot see how you are supposed to get in the thing, does it have doors or a hydraulic canopy ala Nova ??????
Cannot see any shut lines at all, as for the interior, talk about minimalist.

I have to say it doesn't float my boat from any angle. It just looks like a brick on wheels. Each to their own I suppose. I dread to think what it's like to drive/turn with that much weight beyond each axle.

The windscreen looks like the rear hatch off an F-body Camaro, which might be the method of access/egress. The designer(?) clearly had some concerns about high speed stability - that's a long tail and no mistake!
I have one question though - if the car is powered by a Chevy small-block V8 (through the live axle visible under the tea tray), how come it needs 10 exhaust pipes???

I wonder which would be more unstable, that or the Porsche 917L?

Has to be the live axle, every time
Although its true, the 917 langheck was notoriously unstable at speed. David Piper reputedly cut the tail off his car and rebuilt it from plywood and filler, then promptly broke all 917 lap records with it. The short-tail 917K remains one of my all-time favourite sports racers...

At first glance, it looked a tad like the Dodge M4S Turbo (used in The Wraith), but after a 1/2 second, those first initial thoughts went away. I don't mind the styling, other than the headlight treatment. As for the entry point for the GRX Interceptor, it has normal doors. You can see them in the 4th photo when it's in the back of a truck. Both doors are open.
ditto. obviously a show car in the circle of designers like Ed Roth...designed to awe, not necessarily drive!Originally Posted by CyCo
