Let’s see, it’s outside tonight and we have a storm here, engine is covered with plastic wrap but will be happier when it goes back inside.
With 14 cars at work there is a battle for space!

I need to pull the engine back out, the engine came with the clutch attached which was in better condition so in it went. Trouble is it’s missing a part on the pressure plate so needs to come out and be swapped with the original, then it will be able to move under its own power.

Part in question is like a release bearing, but it’s part of the pressure plate and is a separate to the release bearing on the shaft.

That's the difference between early and late clutches, the tube on the gearbox that the release bearing runs on is also different, I had to cut mine back, when I fitted the Kennedy clutch. The clutches are interchangeable.
