The paint is awsome it comes alive in lighter metallic shades when the sun hits it
Bmw marricious blue , i think thats how it spelt ,
2pack system
Used 1 litre of base
1.5 litre of thinner
1 litre of laquer
And activator
And a still dry 30 degrees day and painted it in a sheltered courtyard then put it in the sun to cook :-)
You used a 2 pack system ,and outside, there's a man who lives on the edge, colour reminded me of a metallic blue I had on a Carlton cdx many years ago.
Thanks for the info.

You can tell the car if you ever see it , there is a fly wet flatted and laquered over just above the left rear arch lol
A dignified end, and bloody frustrating after all the hard work no doubt.

That'll be BMW Mauritius Blue, as in the island. My friends Cobra was painted that colour. Looked good. Hints of purple in it.
Just tell um the flies a "Banksy" style signature lol.Originally Posted by jasoncambs
