marking centre od disc for drilling etc.

    Useless tip #3,876
To find the centre of any disc for drilling. (for those of us who do not have a lathe).
Bang a couple of nails into the dinning table, kitchen worktop or garage bench, choice is yours to live with.
Rotate the disc against the two nails whilst applying a marker to what you consider the centre, this will produce a small circle, the centre of which is, well, the centre.

    Peter,
    Nice technique.

Is there also a way of finding the centre of a circle using an equilatral triangle?
