I was sitting in the dentists waiting room this afternoon and picked up a copy of Classic Car from the shelf (my dentist owns a Morris Minor with Fiat twincam engine, and dental assistant drives a Reliant Scimitar so there's always a restoration story to discuss whilst your mouth is full of fingers and sharp tools). A story that caught my eye was discussing a change in the UK car tax law, due to come into force in April 2014, that will see 1973 vehicles included in the 'Historic' bracket and have £0 road tax to pay .
I was surprised not to have heard about this before on the forum as the mag was dated May 2013 so the info has been out for a while.
Lets hope that reduction will help a few more Nova owners get their cars on the road for next year.
