    Am I missing something?

It's not that this is particularly ugly (it's probably fine if you like faux open tourers with undersized wheels and headlights) but WHY does he think he'll get £10k for a restoration case with no engine?
It's a 50 year old car and everything works, just not always at the same time.......and it's probably about to get jealous!

Hmm, its not in the best condition, but the Adams Roadster was quite a sought-after car in its day. Designed by Dennis Adams of Probe fame, these Jag XJ6-based cars went on sale in 1986. They were usually sold as "turn-key" cars to a very high specification, with aero-styled bumpers and engine-turned dashboards etc.

As you say, probably not worth £10k in this condition, but in the pantheon of "neo-classics", this one is supposed to rate very highly (along with Dave Peppers AF Sports and a handful of others whose names I can't remember...)

only Pythagoras can save me now!
