Your Capri looks great Phill. I think I prefer the yellow. Very well done!

If I can't drive the Nova up to your place come spring time I'll come up in the Capri...but I fully expect to be driving the Nova next time we meet up

    That sounds great Phill.

I've not been able to do much at all on my Nova since the summer so that would help give me a focus to get things moving again. Just been too busy at work ... which is a good thing of course, but it was meant to be early semi retirement! I've been telling my customers that I'm scaling down from 5-6 days a week to 3 in the New Year, so I shouldn't have any excuses for further delays!

Merry Christmas to you and Alison!

[QUOTE=Phill;131518]Well spotted Peter - No there is a small join at the narrowest point on the rear pillars (this is where Ford joined the steel panels on the car in the factory. It had to be done this way as there is no natural joint between the roof and rear side panels and the vinyls aren't available wide enough to do it without a join. I will disguise the Join with a Capri Club badge (same as I did last time when it was orange)[/QUO

Ah Ha, I thought so but so neatly done one can hardly see it, if at all. When my mind turns once again to wrapping the SS, (as against touching up paint) it needs a whole different approach from the Nova as there is no canopy to break it up so A posts become a problem, so I was thing how to do it, in sections or in one piece down the side with a joint down the middle or across the front / wings one piece, the rear in one and the roof and sides separate???
