    Great progress Phill.

Your Nova has really come to life now! Just let me know when you want me to put the kettle on for your road legal trip to St Andrews! I can't wait!

Nice one well done looks like you will make Stones this year. I'm not sure I would like to rely on a GPS speedo though. Weather conditions and terrain can make reception iffy occasionally.

Great job and all working, must be so pleased.

    Well done Phil

Will this GULF liveried Nova make it to Stones on it's own wheels, or those of a trailer???

    Great work Phill.

It's reaching these mile stones that keeps driving your build on. Plus the feeling you get of success in all the hard work & time you put in.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers.

Fitted the Horn today - this is operated by a push button on the dashboard rather than a centre push on the steering wheel. The horn itself is powered by a relay operated by the push button. I also wired the washer pump which is operated by another push button on the dashboard. So now all my lights and switches are fully functional with the exception of the wiper switch.

One issue I had come across was my hazard warning system had been causing all the instrument lights and the fuel gauge to pulse in time to the flashing - this was resolved by running a separate earth from the flasher warning lights on the dashboard (previously all dashboard lights had shared a common earth).

The only things left to finish the wiring are to install the voltage regulator (this needs some heavy duty wiring and wide spade connectors that I still need to buy) and fit a windscreen wiper motor and wiring. Apart from that all that's left is to fit seatbelts, run the windscreen washer pipes from the pump, refurbish the wheels and fit new tyres. Then the car should be road legal ready.

Fitted the voltage regulator today but the warning light is staying on at all times suggesting that the generator is Kaput. I'll compare some prices and perhaps upgrade to an alternator system if I can't repair the dynamo.
