    Shocks now installed.
You will see from this photo that the coil adjuster is set quite low so I have a fair range to play with if I want to raise the car.
With the previous set up and 12” springs the adjustment right at the top of its limits and the car sat too low.

Before I had no shock movement at all as the car was sat in the shock bump stop.
Now I have a gap which I can increase if I wanted to raise the car further.

I have now achieved a safe tyre to wing gap which can be increased if necessary.
Hope all of this now makes sense !

Nice work Mark - this should make the car much more enjoyable to drive

Yeah good work. The front end of the car is difficult to get right, good that you still have some room for adjustment.

    Looking good.

And the princess is living up to her name, not a spec of dust or dirt on the chassis or underside of the arches, clearly never driven in a single puddle

Hopefully the suspension is now sorted and she gets to stretch her legs a bit on the motorways and finally test out that cooling system, I’m still planning to follow that path

Suspension- massive improvement since I have gone over the car again. Even on the short distance you can feel movement which it did not have before.
Brakes- better but still not locking the fronts. I am sure that can be adjusted in.
Overall, worth the time, patience and effort.
Feels like a planted car at last 👍
