    Too fast on way down

So, an exciting day today - car back from glass fitters with screen, side windows, sunroof all in.

Obviously canopy heavier now. Roof slower up and much faster down, too jolty really.

when I wind the restricted valve in it actually stops the canopy lifting, and makes no impact on down cycle.

pipes all covered now, so hard to trace but think it is the schoolboy error of putting regulator valve on the wrong side!

    Sound right?

    Getting there, I think
    All the best,

Sounds like its in the wrong line (should be in the up circuit, to slow return flow back to the pump from the rams ) or its the wrong way round (assuming its a one way restrictor like we got with the group buy). I made the same error when I fitted mine for the first time.

Sounds like your nearly there though

Just realised I wrongly said put restrictor in the 'down' line. It should be in the 'up' line, so I have edited my previous post.
