    Wiper wiring and washer pipe

    OK
I have a wiper motor to wire , and my washer jet is also in the canopy.
I have played around with wire, string and magnets and cannot get a line between the side holes and the holes and the front of the canopy for the aforementioned parts.
Frustration got the better of me.......
For those that have done this, hints and tips please.
The book says use a strong wire, is it that simple !

If you have an air compressor, try the string and use an air nozzle to blow it to the other end. Works most the the time for me when I use a string as my fish.

I redid mine recently when I had to thread the wires for my electric mirrors through. The trick is using wire (but not electrical wire), its the hard stuff. Its thinner than a metal coat hanger and springs back into its position when you let it go. I can't think of the correct name for the stuff, but it does work and it is relatively simple.

    Hi Buffy.

I'm similar to islandman. Thin wire with hooked end from the wiper motor end & domestic earth wire from the other.

The earth wire has solid core so can be shaped a bit.

Taped a thin wire loop on the end of earth wire.

Then it's just a game of "hook a duck"

    Cheers.

It can sometimes be the small jobs that drive you mad.

Good to tick another job off the list

    Cheers.
