    Agreed.

This is cheeky but I'd like to know what you paid for it?
... if you want to keep that private, no problem.

You can't be the shy type driving these cars, lots of attention. Also allow 5 minutes more time than you think you need when going into petrol stations, you invariably get stopped and asked lots of questions....... get use to hearing "how fast does it go mister!"

    Here we go.

    1971 chassis
    1600 VW engine aircooled
    7000 miles on the clock

    Pros -
Decent body although stone-chips have done a number in some places
Engine seems to be in good nick
    Ticks over well
Rear looks nice although I will change the badges and lettering
    Fuel filter
    Nice rims
    LOVE the stalk flip switches!

    Cons -
I don't like the speakers at all
Interior roof/door trim is falling apart so will need replacing, some parts of the decor aren't as i'd like them
    Passenger seat-belt gets stuck
Roof rubs against the body when it comes down leaving a nasty scratch
    Clutch pedal is very stiff
    Gearshift is stiff
Reversing lights come on when its not in reverse
Needs a new fuel cap, it's off a Jaguar??? corroded.
Reversing camera is a nice feature although I don't really need it and it's looks ugly in my opinion
Radio is a poor fit where its been cut
Seal around the windscreen is on its way out and is peeling off in some areas
Doesn't have any way of quickly getting out should the pump fail; i'll address that
Wheels hit the body on full lock
    Dents here and there....
    Cracks in the light coverings
Some of the dials on the binnacle don't work

I'm going to change the engine to a 2ltr at some point as well as install a quieter pump that will fit in the bonnet area.

Unfortunately not, MOT is on the same day. Although I will be there myself, so i'll be taking lots of pictures for ideas.

Very nice, someone spent a lot of time building it.
A few of your cons, i have as well, I just live with them but will get them done one day.
A sprint for the mot is the best way to go, worry about the rest after getting a few miles on it.
