Moon-Ace Headlight boxes for the Nova

I plan on using Headlamp 'boxes' from the Nova derived Moon-Ace GT
    (http://www.norecasportscar.com/model_moon_ace_gt.html)

I contacted the company yesterday, is there anything to be aware of when ordering/fitting this items?
Do Noreca supply the lamps to fit the boxes? Any Gotchas? Are they UK Legal?

Do Noreca supply any other useful bits?

    Hi Steve,

I bought my bonnet and headlights from Noreca.

Originally I thought I would source my own lights, but the price difference was so small it made no sense. They have captive nuts bonded in and are supplied with studs to thread in and secure - really simple, and fitted well. The lights have captive brackets mounded in, so I would go with the whole package.

Mine has passed two MOTs no problem.

As I am sure you have found Mr Lin is slow to respond via email - I wasn't certain on the banking info he sent me, so ended up phoning Kuala Lumpur HSBC to verify - phone call cost me £24!

Once payment was done my bonnet and headlights arrived inside 10 days!

The ones that they sell with them!

    Sorry

I think the larger one would be simple to source - it is a standard sealed unit. I found the smaller one was trickier to source, so just ordered a full set from Noreca to keep things simple

I bought the molding from him, then found it difficult to get the lights. So went back and got them also, for me Malaysia is right next door to Singapore so no big deal in posting.

    That's great - thanks gents.

    @Jim
Did you get your front indicators from Noreca?
.. or did they borrow that idea from you?

yes I did, I nearly didn't use them, but persevered - had to mould (well Andy Westgate did, not me) a recessed pod for them. They are actually Honda moped items - a version only sold out there! I recently changed them to a darker tinted set of lenses. I got two new sets (one for spare) direct from a bike shop in Malaysia around Christmas time for £30 shipped.
