No trimming; I will be using pads similar to these:

I am looking at these 'twin lock' runnners, has anyone bought these from CBS, or can recommend alternatives?

That way it makes it a lot easier to store stuff behind the seats, as you know storage is limited so every little bit helps. If you also go down that route I'll be interested to see what Flatlands come up with, they do some great work and I'm sure could come up with something batter than I could to achieve this.
This might fit the bill as regards a tip forward seat, Dave:

Nice find Steve and thanks for pointing it out. I can't tell from the photos though how they lock into the base, or their size. I'll investigate further. Many thanks

    Intratrim Seats, or any others?

Just resurrecting this thread because I'm starting to plan ahead, and since there seem to be so many options available I'd like to get some views.

I'm really attracted to the quality of Intratrim's seats, several of which are narrow enough to fit the Nova. However, I gather that they are all fixed (ie don't recline) and I suspect that the ability to recline could be useful. David had also highlighted the need to be able to tip forward to get access to the area behind the seats. I can relate to this because when my Nova was on the road over 30 years ago my Golden Retriever used to travel with us behind the seats!

Anyway, are there any other manufacturers that folk can recommend? Are the 'fixed' (@Buffy) seats comfortable? .... and of course any other views welcome.

There's no rush, as I said I'm just planning ahead. However I'm keen to aim for a quality interior and the seats (and the dash) will be the main focal points.

    Cheers,
    Alistair

    These fit, but don't recline.

I tried them at the Stoneleigh show a couple of years ago (yes same name as the seat itself) in my car with deep floor pan drops and they work. Just need a bit of tilting on fitment for me

    Seats

I thought I had cracked it when I bought a pair of 'westfeild/Locost seats but they turned out to be so amall, the seat belt hole were under my shoulder blades and the top in my necj but there were narrow, maybe a bit to snug. I then bought a pair of the Chinese recliners for 150 quid and they just fit width wise, are tall enough and slide. Only problem is they seem to have become scarce on eBay.

These are nice and at 50cm max width should fit the 144.5 floor width.

Those runners are way too wide for the 144.5cm floor width but I have same and just had to cut and shut the release handle. About 40 a pair is what I would pay.

You can make seats with the features you want plus more.

I don't expect you to build them the way I did but maybe this will give you some ideas.

I used parts from the Corvette C4 to build my seats and the stock cushions still fit. I just made new shells that fit the car and made a few adjustments to the hinge mechanism.

But you are right clever dick Brett. (that's a complement by the way). I just bought my way out of the seat problem.
