    Sun Visor

    Here's a real simple install.

    These came out of a Mercedes. I've had them for a while and can't recall what model they came out of but if interested I can find out.

    These are not the main visors but a secondary one that is located between the two main ones.

    There are a few different versions, depending what model they're in and come in different colors.

    Here is a similar one on eBay:

    Hadn't thought about the central ones, there are other options following that idea:

    Nice idea, I had kept the Subaru ones to try and do something with cut down ect. The Nova has the benefit of having the double skin, unfortunately the Avante doesn't it has a 20mm box section running just above the windscreen.

    I'm glad they survived ;-)
    Brings back memories mate;
    After I got the car on the road, I ran it for a couple of years (mid 80s)
    then I took it off road for a year to iron out some issues; one of them being the Canopy; Roof seal, Flocking and installing those home-brew fold down sun visors.
    (I had a couple of instances of a windscreen 'white-out' when the sun caught it in the wrong way)
    Flocking was a fairly new technology back then and I recall bombing up the M1 in a Transit Luton van to Junction 40
    for the Elams to do the honours, they did a good job for me and flocked the visors at the same time.

    And whilst the rest of the canopy was de-flocked the sun visors are still in their original black flock . I haven't finished trimming the interior yet, but there is a high chance the canopy may be flocked once more as it does provide a nice finish to a shape otherwise hard to trim
