Nice up date. Do the white rings have LED's behind them?

    G'day Dirk,

Not only do they have white LED's they also have Amber LED's.

So they are DLR's, Parking Lights, & indicators.

When the indicator is activated the white LED's extinguish while the Amber are flashing, and then when the amber stop flashing, after an appropriate delay, the whites come back on.

When I have them plugged in I'll drop in a video.

Still a lot to do but when the golfer gets his hands on it I want it all to work correctly & be reliable.

Nice work Bushboy/Caddy/Whatever ... It's hard enough to find time to work on our cars, let alone others' cars ... Much Respect!!!

Peering through the gaps in the photos, the front suspension looks really solid ... I take it the rest of the chassis is the same, so that it's basically only MOT stuff you need to address before Golfer can drive North to join Phill, gmacz and me (as probably the only serious Nova owners) in Scotland .... ?

You're doing great work and I really like those headlights!

Really up to date! ... I love it!! ... and I'm looking forward to seeing your video Bushboy. Would love to use similar for my Nova ............... but wiring lights is a long, long, way off. By the time I get to it you'll be able to say .... "Alexa (or better still "Nova") .... turn left"

Sounds a bit along the samelines as mine, I have matching fog lights too, with a little help from Dremel.

    Basic units joined together

    SS lit up.jpg
    DRLs in nose 'gill' recesses
These go out with headlights on as required

    Indicators/side lights which alternate
    With fog lights
    Fog only

The weather gods listened to me & we had sunshine all day. Good thing as I forgot that the Nova is asymmetrical. What fits one side doesn't always fir the other side.

Left hand light went in nicely, Right hand light not so. Don't let Dave but I had to recess the under-light area to get it to fit. Now I will have to glass the under side to close the recess so no water/dirt finds it's way into the light area.

Now there are two light brackets hanging in the shed waiting for the paint to dry.

    Getting closer.
