    Yes I bought one of those about 20 years ago from Machine Mart its a pipe bender for thick walled pipes for gas and the like, If you put some mild steel tube in it it just folds it. That's why they are only around £70 on ebay.

    Yes exactly, I bought mine when I built my first Nova to do the exhaust, even tried the trick with compacted damp sand. I've never used it since.

    I have managed to finish all the pins and spacers




    Just the difficult bit now the dies, but it will be a few weeks before I can start them.

    Still plodding on with the pipe bender its now all painted and assembled





    I have not got around to making the dies yet, as with a lot of things in engineering I'm having to make a tool to make a tool to make the part but I think I am nearly there now.
