Thanks Mick - hopefully the first of many more shows. I've got a lot of catching up to do!

    Hi Lauren,

I have missed your show updates the past few years. Great to see them back and the green machine is looking awesome.

Well done for getting in Lauren

As you know I've been to quite a few of these days at Brooklands. I also find the supercars quite boring. I think it's an age thing. For anyone who'se never been and is interested in planes, a lot of time can be spent looking around the grounds and inside the hangers as there's a wealth of fascinating aeronautical stuff dotted around and other interesting historic things to look at.

I hope you manage to get the carb sorted out soon. Air leaks are very annoying, especially if you have to replace gaskets that were working fine.

Thanks Giles - you sound surprised? They let in a Mk1 Escort (actually they let in two, and several Lotus Cortinas), so I think the Nova has better supercar credentials than that

I guess it must be an age thing. Today's Internet generation take 200 mph and six-figure price tags for granted. Still, the sight and sound of a 30-year old Pantera GT5S is usually enough to bring them round!

Unfortunately there were no Panteras on Sunday

I think the carburation problem is fixed. Still need to do some more fine tuning, but overall the engine is running a lot better now.

Alas no longer in possession of his Concept Centaur, he does at least have a Honda Z600

Love the caption under the photo Lauren! The focus is rightly on your Nova, as it mixes it with the 911s.

However, more or less anyone can have a 911 ... but the rarity of the Nova, and its stunningly better looks (imho) still make it the 1st choice for me.

As Sir Billy would say .... "The Green Machine looks just pure dead brilliant ... so it does!"

I just looked up the concept centaur... and the phrase "Its a car Jim, but not as we know it" popped into my head
