    Chassis and V5

Nice if you had a body to bolt straight on top!

This has been up for sale on Volksworld for some time. I was tempted to offer for it a few months ago (I've got a spare body) then reality set in- but I'm still tempted

The V5 is the key part.
Once you have that in your name , a model change is fairly straightforward.
The beauty of having a chassis based kit car 👍

If you had a 356 body - ‘modified for a 356’ means shortened - no good for a Nova, 18” missing!

Would that therefore make the V5 worthless as the chassis has been modified?
Difficult to tell from the pics where it has been shortened....

I suspect you're right re the V5 Mark ... unless it can be proven that the modification took place more than 30 years ago, of course.

There's also the issue of the position of the gear lever (ie presumably it's unmodified)

Check out the 4th picture ... it looks like it's been cut at 90' to the tunnel. I could be wrong, but I thought you were meant to cut in a 'chevron style', with the cut across each side being roughly 45'?
