It's registered with the DVLA as an Avante - date of registration 1982. So there's every chance a V5c could be obtained by the succesfull bidder and the car put back on the road

    Good news!

Pity the Nova doesn’t also have a reg number to go on. I could be wrong but the Nova looks like a kit which never made it onto the road .... ?

Lot #175 is the "unknown bonnet", otherwise known as the Nova front undertray.... maybe if someone needs one, could be had for cheap I would think...

Sounds like it might be a good day out nice find Phill. I love lot 133 the Ford Hot Rod. I think I could spend lots of money there. Imagine having the money and space to build up a collection like that.

Yeah great find; The MG Owners club will be all over this collection, Porsche 911 Jeeez.
I think Alistair's right, I don't believe the car has ever seen the tarmac.
What a pity, and no V5...

If you zoom on the rear view the letters: ? G A 0 4 S are handwritten where the number plate would be, hmmm.

Sold for £1000 ... just shows the difference it makes when the reg number is recorded at DVLA

This was a good deal for someone it was complete with all the trim panels and gauges, the wheels where nice. It also has IRS rear suspension and I do not think it was a standard Beetle engine although I don't know what it was. Lets hope we see it here on the forum.
