    Hello mate,

This is what I bought and would recommend, it is similar to what others have posted.
I used 3/16 Copper Nickel line.

    Flare Tool:
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121917694750

    Bending Tool:
    https://automec.co.uk/collections/tools/products/small-bending-tool-3-16

I like Automec, their site is pretty good as well.

I used double flare tube ends for everything.

When I did mine it was months after before I was able to test the system as I used a standard VW fluid reservour that needed to be mounted to the body before I could bleed the brakes. And although there were no leaks in the system, I still had to adjust the brake pedal mounting plate and the pushrod before the brakes were set up properly, which is not so easy to do when the body and dashboard are fitted
Excellent advice Phill. I remember a discussion about the top mounted reservoirs last year. Whilst I recall there were concerns about having to remove the wheel to get access to it, bearing in mind the points you raise I think it's far better to have the functionality before the body is in place. After all, how often would you have to remove the wheel to get access to check/top up the reservoir! .... I'll order one just now!

    Thanks Steve,

I ordered everything I need earlier this evening. I've gone for a different bending tool, but have gone for the same flaring tool you recommended. Many thanks for your help!!

    Cheers, Alistair
